Our first day at sea was a "cruise elegant" night. Most cruise lines have gradually moved away from formal nights that typically required a tuxedo for men. Cruise elegant dress requires a sports coat and tie. That does make it a lot easier to pack. I added a coat, tie, and nice shoes to my luggage, and made sure I had at least one shirt that could be worn with a tie. And the plus size homecoming dresses 2019 ladies still have to just be dressy. Even though most cruise lines do enforce a dress code in the dining room, you don't have to dress up. You can always eat in the lido buffet that night. It has a much more lenient dress code.
